Purposes and Bases for Processing

The establishment will only collect your personal data for a specific purpose, and on a specific basis (such as the execution of a contract, your consent or the establishment’s legitimate interest).

Depending on the service, the purposes and bases are as follows:

– Supplying of products and services
Collected data: identity, contact details.
Purposes: customer support, successful provision of a service, invoicing and payment.
Basis: contractual execution.

– Customer service
Collected data: identity, contact details, reviews and complaints.
Purposes: answering inquiries, responding to complaints.
Basis: legitimate interest of the establishment, legal obligation (obligations connected to the consumer’s right of withdrawal).

Collected data: identity, contact details, preferences regarding the media used to receive information.
Purpose: informing the customer about the studio’s news and new products.

Basis: legal obligations to cooperate with organizations fighting against various types of fraud.

Data Recipients

The establishment may share your data with authorized organizations.

Thus, the establishment may outsource to subcontractors (any company that processes personal data in accordance with the establishment’s instructions) for the processing of your personal data within the limits of what they require to provide their services (e.g., website hosting, promotional communication management).

Through a contract with the subcontractor, the establishment ensures that the latter will respect the confidentiality and security of the personal data they receive.

Except in the cases listed above, the establishment commits not to sell, rent or yield your personal data to third parties without your consent.

Some of your data may be transferred outside of the European Union, particularly in the context of using document storage services (Cloud). In such cases, we ensure that these transfers are governed by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or by Standard Contractual Clauses of the European Commission, guaranteeing an adequate level of protection.

Data Retention Period

Your data will be securely stored by the establishment for the amount of time required to reach the above-mentioned purposes, or for the minimum retention period as provided by applicable law. For example, data connected to the provision of a service will be stored for the duration of the contract, and for a period of five (5) years once the period of service provision has ended, except in the event of a more restrictive legal requirement. Another example: data connected to promotional communication will be stored for three (3) years after the last moment of contact, unless you exercise your right to object.

With the establishment, you may exercise your right of access to your data, as well as rectification, erasure, limitation and portability of your data, opposition to processing it for legitimate reasons, and the right to define the future of your postmortem personal data.
